Xero and Deputy Partner for Scheduling, Time Tracking and Payroll

Online accounting maker Xero has partnered with the workforce management platform Deputy to deliver Xero’s advanced payroll alongside Deputy’s employee management solution to strategic global markets.

Working collaboratively to revolutionize the way businesses operate, Deputy’s employee scheduling and time tracking solution now integrates with Xero payroll for an end-to-end workforce management solution.

The Xero and Deputy partnership provides customers with the following workforce management abilities:

  • Quickly syncs new hires and their details between platforms
  • Simplifies employee time-off requests in the scheduling system to track sick leave, paid time-off and unpaid leave balances
  • Creates leave overview reports, which automatically calculates ordinary hours, penalty rates, overtime and allowances
  • Syncs pay rates to eliminate redundancy of tracking in multiple platforms
  • Can create optimized schedules based on pay rates and salaries
  • Forecasts labor costs and ensures compliance with all labor laws

Xero and Deputy are both partners in Apple’s Mobility Partner Program, working closely to create innovative solutions and features that are exclusive to and optimized for iOS.
